*~Betsey Inspired~*

Just noticed these earrings from forever 21 - very Betsey Johnson inspired and at an amazing price too! The price range is just perfect for trendy pieces that you won't wear too too often but it definitely is fun for the colourful summer!

*~Chanel Sunglasses~*

I just started to drive regularly and needs some sunglasses!! I don't wear contacts and have pretty bad eyes so I just pre-ordered my new pair of sunglasses n_n they're super cute from Chanel - I picked the white bow for now but the black one is also nice too...ah can't decide! Only the black one is available at Holt Renfrew (they sold out of the white one...but I was able to get the white bow pair from the Owl at First Markham Place since they will be getting some in stock) What do you girls think (black bow or white bow)?

Chanel: 5170 Sunglasses - CAD$365

*~Flats, Flats, Flats~*

*sigh* so my obsession for shoes (especially flats) continues to grow... so much for spending freeze!!

Bought a pair of Sam Edelman Calypso Ballet Flats last week at Capezio (Vaughan Mills mall location) - I've been eyeing them since they came out a few years back and finally pulled the trigger since they were on sale for CAD$95!! Not that good of a deal BUT it seems like this style is discontinuing and is on clearance in stores and online so this seems like my last chance to grab them (in my size too~~I had to settle for size 5.5 but luckily the flats run small and I was able to work it with an insole) I had been searching for a better deal online but the white colour is very popular and sold out everywhere~~and the other few stores that still carry this style (prob out of size) were still at regular price.
The price difference between these flats in US & in Canada is pretty huge (regularly price CAD$125 in Canada but only around USD$90 in U.S. and plus sales happen much more frequent in the U.S.) and that's why I've been delaying the purchase hoping to find a better deal online~

AND oh so ironic...right after I bought these...there is a Winners location at Vaughan Mills (i used to shop at winners a few years back but now they never have anything good...), I saw the exact same flats for only CAD$60 *sigh* but in a size 6...just can't catch a break LOL but I was so surprised they were there and no one had snapped them up!

When I went to Buffalo, I saw them in other colours (and other sizes...oh if I only I was a size 6 + up) for only USD$50 in Saks outlet!! *sigh*...the black looks very nice as well (BUT I bought a pair for my younger sister during boxing day sale for only CAD$45...haha great day for her!)

These are very stylish and elegant and perfect for jeans & leggings~~they're on sale in various colours & sizes on on endless.cm and amazon.com~~highly recommend you girls grab a pair when they're still available!

I used to love juicy couture a few years back but now they're getting a little tacky...BUT I was pleasantly surprised when I saw these at Capezio at Bayview Village shopping centre...on sale for CAD$65 (40% off from original price of CAD$115)~~so sad that they only had size 6 when I needed a size 5...the size 6 did run a little small but was still too loose for me...although these are jelly flats, they look surprisingly classy and elegant (the picture does not do these justice) and definitely office appropriate~~I suggest you girls to check it out!!

*~My Love for Paul's Boutique~*

I love everything English n_n and Paul's Boutique is a brand that I've been loving for awhile now...but don't have anything from it yet~~since their bags are not readily available in Toronto...and it's quite trendy (a little too trendy for my everyday style now that I'm working...)~~luckily Asos.com does carry the line (although the styles are a little past season) but still have a good selection n_n here are some of my top picks!

While this is very similar to a longchamp bag, i like it that it's got a lil bit more personality with the signature "I love PB" logo and the adorable charms~

Very nautical...and this trend is always in style and perfect for the summer season! The bag seems roomy which is perfect for a girl like me who carries a lot of stuff around~~plus I really like how structured the shape is :) goes with the stripes very well~~there is also a matching wallet available for USD$53.44~~

I've been eyeing this one for awhile now!! I love the preppy look and this is it~~plus with a twist of very adorable bright colours which I love. I'm seriously contemplating getting this but I'm trying to move into a more sophisticated style...but I'm just not ready to grow up yet!! Matching wallet available for USD$53.44 as well~~

Paul's Boutique 'I Love Paul's Boutique' Twister Bag - USD$113.78
This one has also been on my list but I realize...with my height at 5 feet tall...the bag looks pretty big but I would consider this one of the signature styles of the brand and you know how I love my big bags!!

This was seen on Paris Hilton (not that I'm a fan of her at all) but I do like diamond and bling patterns and most of all, the english flag pin that is so glammed up!! The price is the same as the regular pattern which is a great deal~~no price premium for limited edition n_n

All so tempting...I'm definitely struggling with putting myself on a spending FREEZE until September when I go to Hong Kong for 3 weeks!!

*~School Bag~*

I've always been a fan of school bags but the kate spade one is just a tad pricey for the simple design...here's a more budget version I found on asos.com

*~Mini Review: Essential Hair~*

I wanted to start taking better care of my hair since my sister always mentions to me how my hair looks too dry...plus I want to get a new colour pretty soon so I just thought I would do some damage repair~~I just tried try out this hair mask from Essential (got it for CAD$18...also available on ebay for around USD$16 including shipping) to see if it works :) so far I quite like it...it smells amazing and I definitely feel that my hair is more smooth (less tangled) after doing the hair mask...I have only been using for 1 week but I'm happy with the results so far...if you girls are looking for a hair mask, this is definitely a good one to try!

Essential Intensive Hair Mask - Ultra Honey & Shea Butter (Rich Premier) - USD$11
this one is more for the effect of smoother hair (which is why i chose it)

Essential Intensive Hair Mask - Ultra Honey & Shea Butter (Nuance Airy) - USD$11
this one is more for a lighter more airy, bouncier feel

*~Candy Doll~*

The Candy Doll brand is really growing on me these days~~ever since I tried their lipstick in pink, I've been in love!! The packaging is too adorable to resist and i do love my share of pink and stripes!

I absolutely love the colour~~I've more of a cutesy style so my lipstick (me = not a fan of lipgloss because the gloss tends to fade and i'm too lazy to reapply constantly) is always light pink. It's so hard to find a good light pink shade that's not too light...and I feel that this colour is perfect! At CAD$25, it's really good price point too! I've definitely received a compliment or two when I wore this (hasn't happened for my other ones yet) n_n so I highly recommend this buy!

The colour seems like it would pair well with various gloss colours too so definitely recommended for you glossy girls out there as well!

I'm curious to try the other colours - I'll probably try the nude colour (Vanilla Beige) next because I feel like orange (Apricot Beige) is quite hard to pull off - haha my style isn't as funky~~

I recently discovered that they have a foundation and concealer line too! n_n so excited...found them on ebay since I only see the lipstick, lipgloss, and blush products at Pacific Mall in Toronto. The prices online are in line with retail prices, so I might order them online soon~~
btw...for the products - just click on the title/picture for the link to the eBay auction~~

Some application tips:

*~My Beauty Diary~*

I'm a sucker for packaging and I'm always trying new type of masks...just got this package the other day from My Beauty Diary (on sale at T&T supermarket for only CAD$19!) - a really good deal since there are a total of 17 masks and they're all different types so you can sample each one and see what suits you :) this is very ideal especially for a newcomer to the brand like me who wants to try every type! Plus the alice theme really got me - it's so whimsical!!

There are 3 editions (pink, blue, yellow) - a lot of the masks are similar (there is 2 bonus masks that are different - I think that's what differentiate the 3 editions...They're available on Sasa.com which has really reasonable pricing (you can also find them on ebay if you can't find them locally but I find the ebay prices are much higher than on Sasa.com)

Two of them are Arbutin Whitening Mask. The other 15 sheet masks are Bulgarian White Rose Mask, Bird’s Nest Mask, Southern France Apricot Mask, Aloe Mask, Cooling Mask, Black Pearl Mask, Pearl Powder Mask, Japanese Cherry Blossom Mask, Red Wine Mask, Apple Polyphenol Mask, Strawberrt Yogurt Mask, Q10 Mask, Mixed Berries Mask, Sake Yeast Mask and Natto Mask, respectively.

Two of them are Collagen Firming Mask. The other 15 sheet masks are Bulgarian White Rose Mask, Bird’s Nest Mask, Southern France Apricot Mask, Aloe Mask, Cooling Mask, Black Pearl Mask, Pearl Powder Mask, Japanese Cherry Blossom Mask, Red Wine Mask, Apple Polyphenol Mask, Strawberrt Yogurt Mask, Q10 Mask, Mixed Berries Mask, Sake Yeast Mask and Natto Mask, respectively.

Sasa.com: My Beauty Diary - Alice All In One Mask Set (Blue) - USD17.50
Two of them are Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mask. The rest are other sheet masks, one for each item. The other 15 sheet masks are Bulgarian White Rose Mask, Bird’s Nest Mask, Southern France Apricot Mask, Aloe Mask, Cooling Mask, Black Pearl Mask, Pearl Powder Mask, Japanese Cherry Blossom Mask, Red Wine Mask, Apple Polyphenol Mask, Strawberrt Yogurt Mask, Q10 Mask, Mixed Berries Mask, Sake Yeast Mask and Natto Mask, respectively.

The one I got was the yellow box set...I just tried the Pearl Power mask for whitening last night and it smells amazing - the effect is average - it's just the normal effect you would expect for a mask at this price point. I did see my skin being whiter right after i took off the mask but typically returns to normal after an hour or so like many other masks...the mask did stay cool for the 30 minutes that I had on which is nice and relaxing (i've had some masks that get warm or dry out pretty quickly)...overall I did it because it smells and feels quite nice and price is very reasonable for casual every day use...but don't expect intense results!
Do be careful of allergies or if you have sensitive skin because my mom tried the Natto mask and her skin turned red for a little bit...

*~Pearls~*

just wanted to share this etsy seller, erinkeys, with you girls...and any SATC fan! i love the pearl necklace - it's perfect for an evening dress but also can be worn casually...plus the price is very reasonable! here are some of my picks!

the colour reminds me of the tiffany blue - very elegant indeed! there are several colours available in store (at various price points...i'm assuming depending on the popularity of the colour?)

this definitely reminds me of a Club Monaco style necklace that retails for around $90! a very great look for less - and quite chic for everyday or office wear :)

i love a matching set - and this bracelet is too adorable to resist!

*~Buffalo~*

I went to Buffalo for a day for shopping...no luck at the fashion outlets but did grab some cute items at A&F Kids from the Walden Galleria mall though! A&F was having a pretty good sale and given the exchange rate difference, that's automaticaly a 20% off! The Canadian dollar has been on parity with the US dollar for awhile now but something priced at USD$20 is CAD$25 and price gap is even higher for the higher-priced items!
Anyway I really like the lace details of the tank tops I got - they're delicate and cute - because I find lace often gives off a trashy lingerie feel if it's not done right!

A&F Kids: Charlie - CAD$17.15
I got this in grey, white, and navy - the details are just to perfect to resist and they pair very well with skirts and cardigans! It was only around USD$13 at Buffalo...such a good price for this quality!

this was only USD$8.50 at Buffalo - this goes well with layering or with a plaid shirt~~I usually don't like lace details like this but it looked good on the model so I had to grab it (esp for under $10!)

this was a little bit of an impulse buy - decent price for a belt at USD$29 at buffalo - i love the colours~ you can pair it with a dresso r a long cardigan - kind of goes with the nautical trend depends on the way you dress it! this also comesin a tan colour but I thought this would match with more of my wardrobe plus gives it a more slimming look
