*~Pearls~*

just wanted to share this etsy seller, erinkeys, with you girls...and any SATC fan! i love the pearl necklace - it's perfect for an evening dress but also can be worn casually...plus the price is very reasonable! here are some of my picks!

the colour reminds me of the tiffany blue - very elegant indeed! there are several colours available in store (at various price points...i'm assuming depending on the popularity of the colour?)

this definitely reminds me of a Club Monaco style necklace that retails for around $90! a very great look for less - and quite chic for everyday or office wear :)

i love a matching set - and this bracelet is too adorable to resist!

*~Buffalo~*

I went to Buffalo for a day for shopping...no luck at the fashion outlets but did grab some cute items at A&F Kids from the Walden Galleria mall though! A&F was having a pretty good sale and given the exchange rate difference, that's automaticaly a 20% off! The Canadian dollar has been on parity with the US dollar for awhile now but something priced at USD$20 is CAD$25 and price gap is even higher for the higher-priced items!
Anyway I really like the lace details of the tank tops I got - they're delicate and cute - because I find lace often gives off a trashy lingerie feel if it's not done right!

A&F Kids: Charlie - CAD$17.15
I got this in grey, white, and navy - the details are just to perfect to resist and they pair very well with skirts and cardigans! It was only around USD$13 at Buffalo...such a good price for this quality!

this was only USD$8.50 at Buffalo - this goes well with layering or with a plaid shirt~~I usually don't like lace details like this but it looked good on the model so I had to grab it (esp for under $10!)

this was a little bit of an impulse buy - decent price for a belt at USD$29 at buffalo - i love the colours~ you can pair it with a dresso r a long cardigan - kind of goes with the nautical trend depends on the way you dress it! this also comesin a tan colour but I thought this would match with more of my wardrobe plus gives it a more slimming look

*~Impulse Louboutins~*

My first pair of Christian Louboutins!! It was kind of an impulse buy...I went to Vaughan Mills mall today for a team meeting at Lucky Strikes and after the meeting, I shopped around with a friend and went to Holt Renfrew Last Call...and saw this pair of Louboutins for only CAD$259 (originally CAD$665!) It was too good of a deal to pass up...plus it's a classic colour and I just love the shape of the shoe. Very flattering...and I'm the type to like toe cleavage so it really was a nice buy! I wanted to buy the simple 100 in nude or black first but couldn't resist the price on this pair (plus I just checked...it's sold out online at Saks)...

A mini-stacked heel keeps this leather classic comfortable for the workplace or weekends.
  • Heel, 2¼" (60mm)
  • Round toe
  • Leather lining
  • Padded insole
  • Signature red leather sole
  • Made in Italy

Plus...I also bought the juicy couture polka dot wallet at Vaughan Mills as well! It was on clearance + an additional 30% off...originally CAD$128...and it was only CAD$45! I've been liking the polka dot collection for awhile...but the suede is hard to take clare off...I really like the pink colour and the french purse style BUT the ones in the store were very dirty already so doesn't seem like a good idea...so I went with this one! I wanted to get an investment piece for a wallet...but haven't had any good ideas yet (was looking at the louis vuitton french purse wallet but the opening to the coin purse was a little hard to open)...so this will do for now :)

*~Nude Bows~*

Aw these nude bow flats from asos.com (one of my favourite online places to shop from - the only site that offer free worldwide shipping) are so romantic n_n i think I'm in love~! Asos.com is great alternative from Topshop :) especially for Canadians...can't wait to see Topshop at the Bay soon though!

These are a great bargain from Forever 21 :) These also come in black but I think nude is cuter and more suitable for the coming seasons - summer & fall!

*~Laced Up~*

I went to Pacific Mall (in Toronto) the other day and still in my pirates mode :P and I just had to get one of those laced dresses! It's quite the trend these days...but most dresses are floral (which are nice but a bit too much for my style) so I snatched up this one for only CAD$55 (had to use my bargaining skills haha...was marked $88 down to $68...and the saleslady gave me an extra 20% off~~)! Let me know what you girls think!
There were several that I was interested in as well (one that looks similar to this) but didn't fit me since Pacific Mall usually has items that are "one size" or they have very few in stock :(

I also saw a few dresses that I liked on eBay (just click on the link and it'll lead you to the auction page!)

*~Ahoy Mateys!~*

just watched pirates of the caribbean last night in imax 3D~~was super impressed with the visual quality of imax 3D - definitely highly recommended~! i loved it!! STAY after the credits for an additional short scene :P love the sword fights & costumes - the mermaid scene was definitely a stand-out! While the plot was not as solid as the last movie, it was alright - the last movie's plot was a bit more complicated for me - it was still a movie worth seeing! On another note - i pretty much bought pretty much all of the OPI pirate of the caribbean collection - just had to have it!! I highly recommended the colours -> skull & glossbones, strangers tides, steady as she rose! Plus just grabbed the new kindaichi novels - have been waiting for new ones for a few years now - always take them so long to translate and publish!

keeping with the pirates theme - saw these really cute earrings!

*~Pink Pumps~*

i'm not really good at walking in heels...2 inch is the perfect height for me...so it's hard for me to find cute pumps that are not too high n_n just discovered this jeffrey campbell pair that i absolutely love!! i'm leaning towards pink...but neutrals work well too - what do you think? which colour should i go with?
